Third National Philatelic Exhibition

On September 23rd, 1995; Ukraine issued its second semi-postal stamp. The stamp is valued at 50,000 krb plus an additional 5000 krb intended for Association of Ukrainian Philatelists to promote philately. It was issued to commemorate the 1995 World Ukrainica Philatelic Exhibition in Lviv.

The stamp shows different buildings in Lviv. In the centre is the National Museum. It was built in 1904 and its architect was V. Marconi. On the left-side is the picture of the Korniakt bell-tower. It was built between 1572 to 1578. Its architects were Petro Barbon and Pavlo Rymlianyn. On the right-side is the dome for the Dominican Cathedral. It was built between 1764 to 1895. The project architect for the Cathedral was Jan de Vit, for the bell tower it was Y. Zacharevych.

A pictorial cancellation was used for the First Day of Issue. Cancellation was done in Lviv.
