 Ukrainian Cossacks
On March 3rd, 1992; Ukraine issued its first two commemorative stamps.
The first stamp celebrates the founding of Zaporoszka Sich. On the stamp is the founder, Hetman Dmytro Bajda Vyshnevetskyj with two fellow brothers in arms. In the top right hand corner is the coat of arms.
A pictorial cancellation was used for the First Day of Issue cover. Cancellation was done in Kyiv.
