 Military History of Ukraine - Scythians
On January 29th, 2001; Ukraine issued a block of four (4) stamps in its new series - military history.
The issue is comprised of four (4) perforated stamps, each depicting a different battle scene.
The first stamp shows a horse-mounted warrior. The second stamp shows a heavy armoured warrior. The third stamp shows a commander and young-warrior. The fourth stamp shows a female warrior "Amazon".
A pictorial cancellation was used for the First Day of Issue cover. Cancellation was done in Kyiv.
