 Europa 2002 - Circus
Every year the members of PostEurop, the European post offices´ department under the Universal Postal Union (UPU), issue a stamp under a common theme. The year 2002 has been designated as - Year of the Circus.
On April 4th, 2002; Ukrainian postal authorities issued a miniature sheet of two stamps commemorating this occasion.
The souvenir sheet shows the performers from Ukraine's National Circus. The stamps shows a tiger and lion from the performances.
A pictorial cancellation was used for the First Day of Issue cover. Cancellation was done in Kyiv.
