 Definitive Series - "C"
On July 5th, 2002; Ukraine issued a new definitive value stamp - C. The new Definitive series is based upon a floral theme. This is part of the fifth series isuued by Ukrainian Postal authorities in 2001.
The stamp shows a closeup view of lilacs. On the top right-hand corner is the national emblem - trident.
The stamp designated "C" is used in combination with other stamps to complete a postal value. Its present value is about $0.15 US.
A pictorial cancellation was used for the First Day of Issue cover. Cancellation was done in Kyiv.
