 Ukrainian National Folktales
On July 19th, 2002; Ukraine issued three (3) stamps showing the different characters found in its national folktales.
The issue is comprised of three(3) perforated stamps plus labels to present a collage of characters.
- The first stamp shows Kolobok (Pancake) trying to "sweet-talk" the Fox.
- The second stamp shows Pan Kotskyi (Mr. Cat).
- The third stamp shows Speckled Chicken.
A pictorial cancellation was used for the First Day of Issue cover. Cancellation was done in Kyiv.
