 Definitive Series - 45k
On September 18th, 2002; Ukraine issued a new definitive value stamp - 45k. The new Definitive series is based upon a floral theme. This is the sixth series isuued by Ukrainian Postal authorities since 1992.
The stamp shows a closeup view of blue cornflower (Centaurea purpurea). On the top right-hand corner is the national emblem - trident.
The stamp designated 45k is used for regular mail service.
A pictorial cancellation was used for the First Day of Issue cover. Cancellation was done in Kyiv.
