 Administrative Centre - Odeska oblast
On September 20th, 2002; Ukraine issued the third stamp from its Regional and Administrative Centres of Ukraine series for the year 2002.
On the background of the stamp we see the entrance to the harbour. On the left-side we see a statue of Armand Emmauel Richelieu - administrator of Odesa in the early 1800s. In the middle, we see the coat-of-arms and the location on the map of Ukraine where the area is located.
A pictorial cancellation was used for the First Day of Issue cover. Cancellation was done in Odesa.
