 Administrative Centre - Cherkaska oblast
On October 9th, 2002; Ukraine issued the fourth stamp from its Regional and Administrative Centres of Ukraine series for the year 2002.
On the background of the stamp we see the view of the Dnipro River. On the left-side we see a statue of Taras Shevchenko at Kaniv. In the middle, we see the coat-of-arms and the location on the map of Ukraine where the area is located.
A pictorial cancellation was used for the First Day of Issue cover. Cancellation was done in Cherkasy.
