on its on-going Taras Shevchenko series.

stamp shows the painting "Peasant Family (1843)"

second stamp shows the portrait of I. I. Lyzohub (1846-7)

stamp shows the portrait of Y. V. Kaikuyiatova (1847)
A pictorial
cancellation was used for the First Day of Issue cover. Cancellation
was done in Kyiv.
